I believe every hiker has their own rhythm, rhyme, and reason for hiking. I enjoy the challenge of going higher and the meditative state I get into and seeing what I can do physically each time I go out- fast or slow, far or ...not so far.

Some of my best adventures have been on the trail. Friendships, camaraderie, learning, messing up, a few sketch moments and lots of bears.

Hikers and backpackers range from a-z. One thing is for certain: another hiker/backpacker is about the only person who will understand any of my hiking/backpacking stories and why they're important or just hilarious.
